Mom to Mom Baby Diapers and the Safeway website

First, I cannot voice an opinion about these diapers directly to Safeway, the second is that when i first used these diapers, when they had the lady bugs on them, they were fine, mediocre, but worked, now they have this line of bugs across the top and absolutely suck, it is not worth it to me, to change my child now, with these diapers, twice as much, it just doesn't matter price if I am going through diapers this quick. I have purchased my last pack!

These diapers suck!!! I bought my first package last week and every diaper used leaked. Absorbent my ass. Do not waste your money!
I am so surprised I am seeing these answers on the Mom to Mom brand diapers at Safeway! We will now, only buy those diapers because they don't leak, at least not for us. I use to be one of those parents that will NEVER use a non name brand diaper and therefore only used Huggies or Pampers. Low on cash one day I bought these Mom to Mom's and all I can say is WOW. Every morning with the huggies or pampers, our son was soaked, yes there have been a few times with the mom to mom that he has been wet the next morning, but it is very few and far between. I would say to any of you wondering about them, give them a try and see how they work for you. Heck they are about $10 cheaper too!
I will only use these as well. We have rarely had leaks, except with the SUPREME diapers. Those leak for us all the time! I only use the plain white ones, regular, for my 2.5 year old. I love the price and I was a solid Pampers user before finding these and considered myself a diaper snob.
I just opened my first pack of Mom to Mom Supreme Diapers, and am so disappointed. The idea that a group of moms got together and created these and thought, "yea, these are SOFT, perfect for newborn babies," is ridiculous to me. They feel like cardboard, and have horrible material for the sensitive skin of a newborn's rear and thighs. DO NOT BUY THESE.
I haven't tried these products. But I think Safeway has forgotten that there are generally 2 parents who create and care for a child. Particularly now days. Dads are very involved in caring for their children. More and more single dads have taken on the roles of both father and mother, dads are staying home with the kids while mom works, etc. Why is it called Mom to Mom? Just another way men are subjected to the sidelines and have to fight for their right to parent their children. This isn't the 50s anymore. Parent to parent, regardless of sex.
If you are going to let a name subject you to the sidelines you are a very influential person. Its JUST A NAME, come on you are more powerful than that!
Safeway didn't create the name to shut dad's out. It is the brand like "huggies" or "pampers" that someone created and that is the name they picked.
Um yah, I think the person above realizes that is name...thats the whole point of what they were trying to say. I dont get so worked up over these issues anymore but I do agree. The media still reflects an unrealistic view of families and women in general. It *isnt* just mom's doing the diapering and arent we all (our children) better off for it?
About the diapers themselves, I love them. They have an unbelievable price for a diaper that has stretchy sides. (a feature not usually found on bargin diapers) But what I like best of all is these diapers dont serve as advertisement for some show with charecters all over them. Now that I am a parent I just cant believe how hard it can be finding some things that dont have merchandising tie-ins. it seems every boy at our montasouri pre-school carries a spider-man or "cars" lunch box. And these kids are under THREE! Scary. (oh, gee, it turns out I *do* get worked up over some issues)
As a San Francisco native, i see the name as a way of attracking tree hugging, lesbian mothers!
Coming Soon! "daddy to daddy"
the hypo-allergenic soothing rash ointment!
The first time i bought a pack of these diapers the right tab pulled off at least 10 of the diapers. i returned them back to safeway and got my money back. I figured id give them a second chance, maybe it was a fluke, but AGAIN the tabs came off the right side of the diaper. I personally think these diapers are crap! there is no number to call or lodge a complaint or give suggestions.
I was so happy to see a diaper that wasn't soooo expensive, but I thought I should research any reviews before I made my first purchase. I am now kicking myself for buying them anyway! I didn't have a problem with the tabs, I loved that they don't have the usual cartoon characters on them, but I HATE how they leaked, and the fact that myh baby has had a rash since I started the mom-to-mom diapers! Like the first comment, I am using 3 times the diapers because my baby is on the change table every half hour! We tried the "everyday diaper" maybe the "supreme diapers" are better for leaks, but I doubt that they are better for rashes. I'm going back to my beloved Pampers!!
I have been using this brand for the past month and they work great. They really absorb the wetness and poo and are
a great bargain, I recommend this product to everyone.
GG

Well Igave these a try and they suck bigtime. Our son just leaked through his diaper(#2) for the first time. From now on no being cheap, there is something legitimate about brands, and it seems whenever i try to be cheap it just slaps me back in the face. These diapers suck!
Just a tip for the diapers I have found: go a size lower than you usually would for Pampers or Huggies. The stretchy sides cause leakage when your baby's stomach goes up and down while they sleep. Also, I use Pampers at night to avoid leaks (Baby Dry) and the Mom to Moms during the day. The diapers last twice or three times as long that way. Also, change your child every 1.5 to 2 hours whether or not they need it urgently; this will avoid leaks. Thanks!
Are these made by a company who makes other generic diapers too? Just wondering. The old Safeway diapers were made from Tyco, who also made most other store brand diapers. Tyco I'm pretty sure is also the popular "White Cloud" maker too, as well as Raley's old brand, Longs, Taret...etc etc...Just wondering if this was the same diapers w/ a new fancy name as a marketing tech. from store to store so moms didn't feel they were buying "generic" rather then a store brand that wasn't in other stores? But still, it is what it is, and sometimes I find spending a little extra actually saves you money in the end, as you aren't going through more diapers faster, let alone extra laundry if it leaks on clothing and sheets! HOWEVER will say that I have tried the bubble bath and diaper wipes, and those both were satisfactory..again not as good as Huggies per say, but good for the price indeed!
I like these diapers. It is very absorbent and we never encountered leaks. The quality is great for a price that's very affordable. I am recommending it to all moms out there.
DON'T waste your Hard Earned Money on these.
I have been low on funds this Year, and have been buying Luvs, not the best, but they work for us. I was at Vons having to buy some emergency diapers, would have gone to target or walmart if I could, but since I was there, Mom to Mom were on sale, &8.99 for a pack of the pull ups, I thought since they will start pre-school tomorrow, I will buy these since they are so much cheaper than the others.
I had my son in them for 2 hours while he slept. I have not had to change his diapers at night in a long long time. He woke up and came to me, I sat him on my leg, his diaper was not soaked, but he was leaked through. I tore them off and put the last luvs diaper on him.
This is so not worth the saved 4 dollars.
I wonder if I can take them back?
With my first son I always used WalMart's Whitecloud diapers. My second son, now 14 months old, has many allergies & sensitivities so we've tried a LOT of different formulas, lotions, ointments, detergents, body wash, food & diapers. Luvs worked the worst for us. They leaked & the filling would fall out in clumps. Pampers fit well but leaked occasionally & were over priced. WalMart no longer carries Whitecloud & has replaced them with Parent's choice. They were just crap. Huggies were just fine but have continually gone up in price (now $25 for the large box). Mom to Mom not only fit well & never leak but they are on average $14 for the big box! We love them! Only problem is we're moving to the midwest soon & I don't know if we will find this brand there.
omg! I am in love with mom to mom Sensitive wipes...they are so soft unlike huggies and parents choice and i used mom to mom diapers all the time but now that she is a size 5 they are starting to leak a little.. but other than that i have a good experience
