On August 22nd 2007, I submitted 2 used textbooks to sellbackbooks.com and was quoted a buyback price. I printed out buyback forms and mailed the 2 textbooks to sellbackbooks.com in Lexington, KY. I used the prepaid shipping label provided on sellbackbooks' website. To assure that the package arrived, I purchased USPS delivery confirmation service. About 2 weeks later, I checked on my sellbackbooks.com to see if the books had arrived at the company. The order stated that it was submitted in the system. So, I then tracked the USPS del confirmation at www.usps.com. It stated that the books had arrived at sellbackbooks.com on August 27th at 10:10 a.m. Of course I realized that the company had the books for almost 2 weeks. So, I went back on the website and emailed customer service under the "contact us" form. Sadly, I never received a reply. The next time I went on the website to check payment status, the website was unavailable. So, I conducted a search for sellbackbooks.com website problems. After this search, I found several sites where consumers posted negative feedback about sellbackbooks.com. One comment stated that the sellbackbooks.com website was shut down. Then I panicked. I could not find a company number for sellbackbooks.com. After a couple days, I checked the site again and it was back up. But, to my surprise, no explanation of why the site was down. Anyway, I emailed the company 2 more times and still no response. I just want the $20.00 payment for the 2 textbooks or the 2 textbooks returned to me.

F.Y.I----www.sellbackbooks.com is owned by Ecampus.com. The company is in Kentucky, so it is not too surprising of the service and treatment consumers are receiving. CAN ANYONE AT Ecampus/ sellbackbooks.com even open or read email???
